Monmouth in Borough Market

前回のborough marketに引き続いて、

今回はこのバラマーケットの奥にたたずむ超人気コーヒーショップを紹介します！

Today I will talk about super popular cafe near Borough market!

MONMOUTH

一番初めにこのカフェを通った時は、聞いたこともないカフェだけれど

その行列に、間違いなくイケてる場所だと動物的勘がはたらきました！

この日はながーい行列（少なくとも30分は待ちそうな）のため、泣く泣くその場を後にしましたが、、、

For the first time I passed by this cafe, my instinct told me that this must be so popular 

place, although I never heard of the cafe.

On this day we gave up trying because of such a looooong queue...

もちろん諦めたりしません、また来ました！(日を改めて)

しかもオープンより１５分早く着くという気合っぷり。笑

しかしすでに先客が...

We visited there again a few weeks later.

 However, we were so enthusiastic and arrived in quite early morning that it wasn't opened yet...lol

Still, we weren't the first one to wait for its opening

店内はコーヒーの香ばしい香りでいっぱい。

Inside is full of smell of coffee

豆も量り売りしてます

You can get beans as well

この店の自慢はなんといっても、コーヒー！

普段フィルターコーヒーをカフェで頼むことはまずありませんが、自慢の味を試さねば。

ということでフィルターコーヒー2.5ポンド

They're proud of their original filtered coffee.

I usually don't order it in a cafe, but I cannot help trying it there!

焼きたてのクロワッサンとパン・オ・ショコラの誘惑に勝てるはずもなく...

Such tempting croissants and pain au chocolats...

この男の子は開店前から、私たちより先に店先で待っていました。

お父さんが注文をする間も、朝食が終わってからも本を読みふけっています。

なんて粋なんだ。笑

This little boy seems one of the long regular customers...haha

コーヒーと同じくらい感動したのがこのジャムたち！

きっと手作りのこのジャムは、パンを買えば好きなだけ好きな種類を選ぶことができます

ラズベリージャムがもう悶絶です、本当に美味しい♡

商品として売ってくれることを願うばかりです。。

 These preserves are as fantastic as those coffees!

If you buy a piece of bread, you can pick up whatever and however you want from these.

Raspberry one is particularly brilliant, I just can't stop thinking about it since then♡haha

Why don't they start to sell it??

フィルターコーヒーにきちんと温められたミルクを注いでもらいました。

まるでカフェラテのようです、美味しい...！！イギリスで飲んだコーヒーでは間違いなくいちばん！

クロワッサンもカリカリとモチモチのバランスが最高♡

The filtered coffee with hot milk tasted like a cafe latte, which was absolutely delicious!

There's no hesitation to say that this is the best coffee ever in UK!

The croissant was also nice and crispy♡

こんなふうに知らないひと同士がひとつのテーブルを囲んで、

となりのひとと会話を楽しんで、朝食を終えるとさくっと帰る。

かっこいい。

Strangers share one big table, enjoy chat with people there and leave as soon as they finish coffee.

They also share pretty simple philosophy. I love that!

バラマーケット店以外にも、コヴェントガーデンなどにも店舗があるみたいです。

ロンドンいち美味しいコーヒー、是非とも味わってみてください:)

When you visit London, you can't leave without dropping into this shop;)
