今回は歴史ある街オックスフォードのなかでもいちばんの

老舗カフェを紹介します！

”the Grand Cafe”

ここはなんと、イギリスでいちばん初めにできたcoffee shop

1650年創業。日本はまだ江戸時代。

老舗中の老舗です！

OxfordのHige street,この街いちばんのメインストリートにあります

スカイブルーの外観から、優雅で高貴なお店を連想できるはず

This is the first coffee shop in England, starting in 1650.

It's on High street.

You can imagine how elegant this cafe is by the sky blue color.

店内は茶色と青を基調に、小さいながらも、

開放的で居心地のよい空間です

Inside, it's cozy and relaxing, based on blue and brown color.

このカフェは少し値段が高めですが、その分だけ高品質のものが提供されます

The price is a bit expensive here, but the quality of the food is guaranteed.

朝食のメニューは典型的なイングリッシュブレックファスト

トースト、ソーセージ、ベーコン、焼きトマト、スクランブルエッグ

afternoon teaと言えば、誰もが思い浮かべるスコーンとこの２段のプレート！

これはクリームティといって、紅茶とスコーンのみのセットですが、

ハイティなるものを頼むと

さらにサンドイッチとチョコレート、シャンパンがつくそうです

朝昼晩いつ頼めばいいのかわからない笑

日本ではそんなに有名でない紅茶の種類に、

Lady Greyというものがあります。

アールグレイをベースに柑橘系のなにかが←

ブレンドされているみたいですが、とにかく香りが上品で美味しい！！

ここのレディグレイはちゃんと茶葉なのでいっそうおすすめです♡

This is "cream tea", a set of tea and scone

"High tea" includes sandwiches, chocolate and a glass of champagne besides them.

A type of tea called "Lady Grey"

,which is based on earl grey and mixed with some kind of oranges,

is brilliant!! You must try it!

Especially the one served here is not a tea bag, so I strongly recommend it♡

スコーンと紅茶またはコーヒーのcream teaは8ポンド、

ゴージャスなhigh teaは18ポンドです。

cream tea is ￡8 and high tea is ￡18.
